A quick & helpful guideline for photographers to help them choose models and how to find them.
Artist's Comments
This stamp does not apply to the people who actually draw all their own bases and don't trace from other copyrighted images!!! The good artists, in other words.
Ok, so recently I have been looking through people's galleries, and I keep seeing the same thing over and over. Doll bases. Traced from copyrighted images/screenshots, without permission of the original artist. Then distributed like they're the tracer's own art as long as you "OMG CREDIT ME(the tracer) FOR THE BASE. Oh, and credit goes to whoever made the original art =^...^=" dA doesn't do anything about them, even though they're traces, with logical proof that they can't have gotten permission (especially if the picture traced came from a popular anime screenshot), so here I am with my stamp. Seriously, if you want a picture to look like another so much, DRAW IT YOURSELF. I don't care that you don't have a scanner/camera to be able to post it. You have friends, maybe THEY can help you. Well don't look at them. I will do so if I please/have to, this is a public site. And when you spend a lot of time staring at thumbnails of the recently submitted page, you see a lot of them. Basically, I want the devART policies to be reformed to require permission from the artist of the original art when it comes to allowing traced bases. Flame me if you will, I will just laugh. XD Having trouble finding original bases? Look no further, Stamp template thanks to [link] |

Yaoi is totally the fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse. No one ever hears about him because he's always off riding the sixth Horseman. ಠ◡ಠ
Some of them are very good, I agree ^__^

Bases people create for either their own use, or for other people to use. Many times instead of creating their own poses, some doll base makers will trace over other pictures and make bases out of them instead.
but there are some people who are legitimate in making bases ^^
