Every time someone says they don't like Twilight, it sucks, the characters are flat, ect., someone has to start complaining about it. Raving that Meyer is god/best writer evar/ we normal people are just jelus (intentionally mispelled), and that her works will change the world. Some even result to VIOLENCE because of people's different views of the book. No. Just no. Her books may change the world, but not for the better. Allowing girls to think their only chance at true love is through a mentally abusive boyfriend who doesn't let her do anything on her own or let her make her own mistakes, all because he can't read her mind, is not ok. Twilight is NOT the book of gods, it is a published Mary-Sue fic at best. And before you say I don't know what I am talking about, I have read the entire series to date. Minus the remake of TL from Eddykin's POV... Stamp template thanks to [link] And to my watchers who do like the series, this doesn't apply to you. This is just my stance on people trying to shove the 'Twilight Love' down everyone's throats.  Note, any flaming of this will be left unhidden for the laughs of many others later. :\ Besides, its called an OPINION and I have the RIGHT to it. Just because we don't agree on a subject doesn't change that. |
